Dr. Grant Linsell attended the University of Michigan and received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Clarinet Performance. There, he played in H. Robert Reynolds’ Symphonic Band and the Michigan Marching Band. He holds a Master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Oregon and a Doctorate in Wind Ensemble Conducting with a cognate in clarinet from Arizona State University. He has performed with ensembles across the United States and held positions with orchestras in North Dakota and Oregon.

  • Professor E. Fred Ormand – Emeritus Professor of Clarinet at the University of Michigan
